Ghana is plagued with a substantial amount of preventable premature
deaths.
Most of these deaths are related to failure to diagnose most ailments in
its early stages to ensure proper medical management.
The lack of detailed and comprehensive medical annual check ups is in
part to blame for the late diagnosis of ailments resulting in poor
outcomes. These poor medical outcomes are not even salvageable in
countries with advanced healthcare systems like Europe or the United
States of America. Caasi Medical and Diagnostic Center encourages
everyone above the age of 40 years to have annual medical check
ups.
The goal of this medical center is to focus on early detection of diseases
including cancers; through detailed medical examinations including
laboratory and diagnostic tests. We offer diagnostic tests in a state of
the art facility fondly dubbed as the Harley Street or Mayo Clinic of
Ghana. Most of these tests are geared towards early detection of breast
cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, fatal heart diseases, strokes, diabetes, hypertension, and aortic
aneurysms. When detection of cancers of breast and prostate is made
through diagnostic tests, we also offer ultrasound guided breast and
prostate biopsies in our facility.
It is our belief that this process will not only save lives but improve the
quality of life of the populace and save a substantial amount of medical cost.

HOW DOES CAASI MEDICAL & DIAGNOSTIC CENTER OPERATE
1. The Medical and Diagnostic Center is dedicated to “NO MORE
LONG WAITS IN THE DOCTOR’S OFFICE”.
Visits are by appointment ONLY with a few daily vacancies for
emergencies. We value your time and refrain from long waits in
the doctor’s office. We confirm next day appointments a day prior
to your scheduled visit to remind patients of their appointments
and also limit no-shows.
2. Patients are notified of their laboratory and diagnostic test results
within 24 to 48 hours via phone, text or email.
3. We encourage patients to make follow-up appointments within a
week of required test completion so that all tests results can be
discussed face to face and all concerns and questions are
addressed.
4. All phone calls and messages to the office will be returned
promptly. If you have any questions or concerns you can leave a
message for the doctor via phone at the front desk. Messages will
be returned within 24 hours.
5. We pride ourselves of a courteous staff who have compassion and
empathy. If you are offended by the treatment of staff or the
doctor, please do not hesitate to lodge a complaint through our
anonymous complaints line. We endeavor to make anyone that
enters our doors as comfortable as possible, show compassion
and make you feel welcome

with more than 30 years experience in the practice of Internal Medicine (also known as Physician Specialists) having held various faculty positions in the United States of America.
The philosophy of the medical office is to make the visit of every patient
to the facility pleasurable with less or no anxiety. Patients are not made
to feel intimidated. Patients are encouraged to ask physicians all the
questions they have on their minds and to engage in making medical
